A report from the coordinator will be presented at Band Booster meetings.

 

Band Nurse

·        The Band Nurse shall be responsible for the health and safety of the band members and staff.

·        Update and keep the medical release forms of all band members.

·        Have a first aid kit and stay with band

·        All receipts shall be turned into the Treasurer

 

 

Chaperone

·        The Chaperone Coordinator will recruit from the membership adequate personnel to serve at marching band and other band related functions. The Band Director shall have final approval on Chaperone selections. 

                                                 

Senior Night Coordinator

·        Plan Senior Night

·        All receipts shall be turned into the Treasurer

 

Band Banquet Coordinator

·        Plan the annual Band Banquet.

       The Band Director must approve all plans

·        All receipts shall be turned into the Treasurer

Membership

·        The Membership Coordinator shall recruit members and assist them in becoming actively involved 

·        Responsible for maintaining the membership records

·        Coordinate “Phone Tree”

 

Concession

·        The Concession Coordinator shall be responsible for the purchasing and storing of food for the home football games visitors concessions

·        Securing help for each home game

·        All receipts and counts of merchandise are to be submitted to the Treasurer

Catering/Service

  • Coordinate plan, the food and drink for any band trip or event that requires refreshments or meals.

  • Work with the Concession coordinator when using any of the concession stand food.

  • If there are any receipts turn into the Treasurer.

Web Site

  • The Web Site Coordinator will work with the Band Director and the Band Boosters to post updated information about the band on the web.

  • Take photos/video of band events and post to the web.

  • Web site coordinator will post photos submitted by others.

  • Submit bill to the Treasurer.

 

Public Relations

·        The Public Relations Coordinator will be in charge of publicizing band activities 

·        Accessing the news media to keep the public informed of the band’s activities and successes. The Band Director must approve all Publicity information

 

Uniform

·        The Uniform Coordinator shall coordinate band uniform fittings, alterations, repairs and maintenance.

·        All receipts shall be turned into the Treasurer

Color Guard

·        The Color Guard Coordinator shall coordinate uniform fittings, alterations, repairs and maintenance

·        Sew flags and make repairs

·        All receipts shall be turned into the Treasurer

 

Transportation/Equipment

·        The Transportation/Equipment Coordinator shall arrange the details of all band trips with the Band Director

·        Assist in transportation of equipment to field for home and away games

 

Fund Raising

·        The Fund Raising Coordinator shall work with the Vice President at all times.

·        Coordinate the selling of tickets and/or products

·        Ensure that detailed and comprehensive records of all fund raising financial transactions are maintained

·        Events shall be approved by the Band Director

·        Co-ordinate with the City of Long Beach calendar events

·        All receipts shall be turned into the Treasurer

·        The Program Coordinator shall be responsible for the organizing and printing of the Football Programs

·        Coordinate the sell of Football Programs

·        All receipts shall be turned into the Treasurer
